The Club donates annually an average of $20,000 to individuals & organizations.

Projects for Revenue

  • Food Trailer - We take our trailer to four local festivals each year (listed below).  We sell many types of sandwiches with hot and mild sausage sandwiches as our specialty.
  • National Road Chainsaw Carving Festival - During festivals, we sell raffle tickets for a chainsaw carving.
  • Grantsville Days
  • PumpkinFest
  • Raffle Dinner -  We have an annual Raffle Dinner in November.
  • Koeze Nut Sale -  Each year during November, we sell Koeze Nuts and Chocolates.
  • White Cane Day - We have an annual tag day campaign in October.

Sponsored Programs

  • Used Eyeglass Collection Program - In conjunction with Lions International, eye glasses are distributed to the needy in other countries
  • Eyeglasses Financial Assistance - We provide up to $150 for the cost of an eye exam and the purchase of a pair of eyeglasses for persons requiring eye glasses financial assistance.
  • Boy Scouts of America Troop 150 - We contributed substantially to the construction of their building and provide annual support to Penn Woods Council of Boy Scouts of America and up to $400 as needed by Troop 150.
  • Turkeyfoot Valley Area School District :
    • Student of the Month and Year awards - $350 annually awarded to high school seniors.
    • Leonard G. Bailey Memorial Scholarship - $1,000 annually awarded to a high school senior.
    • Daily American Newspaper in Education - Two classrooms are sponsored annually.
    • G-Force Robotics Team
    • Larry K. Holliday Scholarship - $1,000
  • Special Recreation Day - Held annually for over 45 years.  Along with the Corps of Engineers at the Youghiogheny Dam, we host more than 200 physically/mentally challenged adults/children for a day of food, games, fishing, and wagon rides.
  • Christmas Basket Program - We provide food/fruit baskets to the shut-ins and needy during the Christmas season.
